CDC & Elk - Yellow
A simple and effective caddis imitation. The CDC & Elk is a deadly caddis
for trout , grayling and pan fish. The elk hair and the cul du canard (CDC) provide
the floatation on the pattern. Be careful not to use any floatants on this
fly as it will render the air catching CDC useless by binding down all of
the micro barbs on the feather. The low wing gives the fly a natural look
on the water while the wispy CDC lies on the water imitating legs.
