GMustad Signature C49S Scud / Shrimp / Nymph
The Mustad Signature C49S is a curved 1X short scud hook and was developed for tying flies with rounded backs and extended bodies. The C49S features a 1 times extra short shank constructed on standard wire stock. The hook has a curved bend, micro barb, straight eye and a bronze finish. Like all signature hooks, the C49S also employs the chemically sharpened signature point to increase hook penetration while maintaining a strong dependable point. The hook design is well suited for tying Steelhead and Salmon egg patterns like Crystal Meth, Sucker Spawn, Steelhead Hammers and Scrambled Egg. It is also perfect for thying buzzers, bloodworms, and Chironomids patterns on.
