Cul De Canard or CDC makes an ideal fly tying material for a number of flies both dry and wet. The structure of CDC combined with the natural oils present inthe feather trap air and repel water, making it a great choice for dry flies and emergers. CDC is light weight, strong, semi translucent, hydrodynamic and imparts life-like movement into your patterns. Marc Petitjean is a renowned fly tyer from Switzerland and incorporates CDC into many of his fly pattern designs. These packages offer a generous supply of Marc's high quality CDC. He employs a process in the dying and preperation of the CDC plumes that protects the fine structure and natural oils contained in the feather.CDC may be used to create wings, tails, shucks, wing pads, dubbing and parachute posts.
