Mayfly Duns
Duns are the most recognizable stage of mayflies. Mayfly patterns imitate a general coloration of a range of species. May mayfly species will share common color patters such as Blue WInged Olives (BWO), Sulphur, Slate Drake, Green Drake, March Brown and Pale Morning Dun. To find what patterns will bring you the most success, research hatch charts for the area you plan to fish. Bring patterns to match the hatches on the waters you are fishing.
