The Hoh Bo Spey fly was created with year round fishing in mind and can be fished on the swing pretty much any time the water is open and flowing. The original pattern was designed by Charles St. Pierre and named after 2 Pacific Northwest steelhead rivers. The design is influenced by the popular Intruder style of flies. The flies are tied with both synthetic and natural materials that allow the fly to pulse and flow with the river currents. These flies are tied on heavy shank 40mm irons with a trailer hook (up) connected with intruder wire. The flies have 2 colours of marabou, lady amherst, rhea and finished off with jungle cock eyes. The body has been dubbed with synthetic dubbing with some flash as well as a few strands of pearl flashabou are tied into the wing/collar of the fly. While hooks are included, you can change the hooks to smaller or larger sizes to fit your needs or to replace a damaged hook. The flies ship with a #2 hook.
