Sno Cone

The Sno Cone or Ice Cream Cone Chironomid as it is sometimes known is a simple but quite effective fly pattern. The fly is tied with a brass bead to add weight and durable material is used on the body. The fly is counter wrapped with copper wire to further strengthen the fly. Fish the Sno Cone under a strike indicator using a static presentation, adjusting the depth to the zone where fish are feeding. Ideal for all trout species, Arctic Grayling, whitefish and panfish.
