X-1 Minnow Chub Version

The X-1 Minnow Chub is designed to mimic the natural colors of silver and white colored minnow species such as some chubs, white fish, alewife, shiners and smelts. A light colored belly and dark back will look quite natural in the water, an entice any predatory species within sight. The X-1 pattern has proven to be effective on larger trout like Bull Trout, Rainbows, Steelhead and Brook Trout. The fly was designed with Pike and Bass in mind, and has done well.
