When you need a fly that gets down into deeper waters where trout and panfish like to hide, this is your bug. Do you want a fly that has a wire body that imitates both a midge and a caddis pupa? This confidence fly has been around since the 1960s and our modern bead-head version keeps the important features which gave the original legendary success. We offer the fly in both barbed and barbless versions tied on curved shank hooks. The barbed is tied on Mustad C49s hooks while the barbless version is tied on a Firehole 315 model. This is a great choice for fishing stillwaters for trout and panfish but also a good fly to nymph with on small creeks and rivers. Versions in Red, copper, and olive.
