Fl. White Glacier Drift Egg
The Glacier Drift Egg is one of our premium steelhead egg fly patterns designed for fall and winter steelhead fishing and salmon fishing. It is perfect for pursuing salmonids traversing Great Lakes tributaries in Canada and throughout the Northeast United States. Constructed with a specialized jelly-like material, this high-visibility egg pattern creates a translucent appearance that closely resembles a natural drifting salmon egg. The soft texture, bold color, and subtle movement help attract fish from a distance, even in deep runs, stained waters, or low-light conditions.
Clean and understated, the White Glacier Drift Egg imitates washed-out eggs that steelhead readily feed on later in the spawn. It's an outstanding choice for educated fish on heavily pressured rivers
Perfect for Great Lakes steelhead, salmon, and brown trout, the Glacier Drift Egg is highly effective on the Salmon River, Cattaraugus Creek, Oswego River, Oak Orchard Creek, and other top steelhead rivers. Fish it under an indicator, dead-drift through spawning runs, or tight-line it through winter holding water for consistent hookups.
We have over 20 colors of Glacier Drift Eggs available: Fl. White, Cream, Fl. Yellow, Chartreuse, Purple, Minnow Blue, Apricot, Fl. Fire, Fl. Orange, Shell Pink, Cheese, Peach, Hot Orange, Fl. Red. Fl. Pink, Roe, Early Roe, Fuchsia, Pink, and Salmon Pink.
I use sturdy 2 extra-strong glo-bug egg hooks, double-whip finishes, and cemented heads on the flies for extra durability.
