The Glacier Drift Egg is one of our premium steelhead egg fly patterns designed for fall and winter steelhead fishing and salmon fishing. It is perfect for pursuing salmonids traversing Great Lakes tributaries in Canada and throughout the Northeast United States. Constructed with a specialized jelly-like material, this high-visibility egg pattern creates a translucent appearance that closely resembles a natural drifting salmon egg. I use sturdy 2 extra-strong glo-bug egg hooks, double-whip finishes, and cemented heads on the flies for extra durability.
