The Estaz Egg has carved out a legendary reputation among anglers targeting Great Lakes steelhead and salmon. I tie it in both brass-beaded and unweighted styles to handle changing water depths and flows. It’s a fly I never leave home without during fall and winter runs.

I use sturdy 2 extra extra-strong glo-bug hooks, double whip finishes, and cemented heads on the flies for extra durability.
