Fire Orange Estaz Egg
The Estaz Egg is a no-nonsense pattern that’s earned its place in fly boxes across the Great Lakes. With a bright, flashy body that steelhead and salmon can’t ignore, this fly works in everything from New Jersey’s tidal rivers to Michigan’s icy runs. I tie it with a brass bead for fast water and unweighted for delicate drifts. If I’m on the water during egg bite season, this fly is on my line.

I use sturdy 2 extra-strong glo-bug hooks, double whip finishes, and cemented heads on the flies for extra durability.
