Cold water demands realistic presentations. The Glacier Drift Egg features a specialized translucent material that produces a convincing egg profile while remaining highly visible in deep pools, pocket water, and stained conditions.

Designed to imitate the natural variation found during a salmon spawn, the Roe Spawn Glacier Drift Egg combines complementary colors to create an exceptionally realistic presentation. It's an excellent all-around producer when fish are feeding opportunistically on loose eggs throughout the fall and winter.

Perfect for Great Lakes steelhead, salmon, and brown trout, the Glacier Drift Egg is highly effective on the Salmon River, Cattaraugus Creek, Oswego River, Oak Orchard Creek, and other top steelhead rivers. Fish it under an indicator, dead-drift through spawning runs, or tight-line it through winter holding water for consistent hookups.

I use sturdy 2 extra-strong glo-bug egg hooks, double-whip finishes, and cemented heads on the flies for extra durability.
