Olive Vampire Leech

The Vampire Leech is fast becoming a favorite leech pattern for anglers fishing lakes and ponds.  This version of the Vampire Leech was tied by pro fly tyer Jeremy Davies and utilizes UV straggle chenille, marabou tail, and a touch of crystal flash tied on a 2xl hook.  

The Vampire Leech is perfect for fishing in early spring after ice off and late fall but can attract attention anytime. It makes for an excellent searching pattern when stripped slowly. It may also be fished using a dead drift presentation under an indicator on still waters.
