Balanced Leech Purple

Leeches typically swim parallel to the bottom of lakes and ponds and so the best presentations mimic this. A standard leech needs to be cast and retrieved to give it the proper presentation. Although hanging a leech below a strike indicator will work, the balanced leech provides an advantage, presenting the fly horizontally. The balanced leech outperforms the traditional and the waves on the surface provide the action for the fly below.
