Rickard's Bugger Dual Tone (Olive / Fire Orange)

An olive and orange bugger fly pattern designed for fishing Klamath Lake by stillwater fishing icon Denny Rickards. The fly features a short hackle and a glint of flash in the two-toned tail. This trout fly is reinforced with a wire over the simi-seal dubbed body. The dubbing will get picked out as you fish the fly giving it an even buggier appearance.

This makes for an excellent dead-drifted fly suspended under a strike indicator. Use an ultra-slow retrieve to give the fly some subtle movement. It is also perfect for casting off the dock at your local stocked pond.
